Carbon Neutral waste management company B&M Waste Services is furthering its commitment to its employees by making training and educational opportunities more readily available.
B&M Waste Services currently has 10 employees training for a range of different NVQ’s including customer service and team Leader qualifications that will further their knowledge and expertise in their specialised areas. One employee in particular has been given the opportunity to complete a three year course in Procurement and Supply Chain Operations, all of which has been funded by B&M Waste Services.
Apprenticeships within businesses allow individuals to gain knowledge and qualifications while being paid, not forgetting the much needed experience that employees look for when hiring. With National Apprenticeship Week underway B&M Waste says it’s important it provides support and offers experience for those that need it, as apprenticeships have a positive impact not only on the individuals who gain experience and qualifications, but for businesses and the wider economy. The company offers apprenticeships within a range of departments across the business.
Mick Ashall director of B&M Waste Services said:
“Providing these opportunities for staff ensures motivation and the very best customer service possible. As a national company with a family run ethos our staff have always been top priority. We know from a commercial point of view this leads to benefits to our customers, as better trained staff deliver a better service. We continue to invest in our staff and are proud to have attained the prestigious accolades of Customer Focused Business, and Employer of the Year.”
