The acquisition will strengthen Zenith’s position within the cleaning and hygiene sector, adding new growing markets to its portfolio such as Water Treatment, and industries such as Food, Dairy, Brewing, Beverage and Pharmaceutical.
The initial part of the integration process will see CCL Pentasol’s Water treatment division rebranded as Zenith Water Engineering. This is a new market for Zenith Hygiene, and one which it expects to grow in importance for businesses in the future as water becomes a precious commodity, with global water demand expecting to surpass availability by 2050.
Commenting on the acquisition, Ringo Francis, Zenith Hygiene Group CEO, said:
“We’re delighted to announce the completion of CCLP’s acquisition. This deal has allowed us to move into new sectors and we are very excited to confirm the rebranding of CCLP’s Water Treatment division to Zenith Water Engineering. As a business, we thrive on innovation and efficiency; our customers are at the heart of our business model and I am confident they will welcome the delivery of a combined, wider array of services and products to meet our goal of providing them with a fully integrated offer.”
Alex MacDonald, CCL Pentasol managing director added:
“I am looking forward to joining the Board of Zenith and working closely with Ringo and his team at driving a bigger, stronger, and better positioned Group to provide innovative hygiene solutions.”
All of CCL Pentasol’s 51 employees will move across to the Zenith Hygiene Group.
