CERATA launches recruitment and training services for the cleaning sector

Keith-Baker-The Cleaning Executive Recruitment and Training Agency (CERATA) has launched to provide high quality recruiting, talent retention and training services for the professional cleaning, hygiene and jansan sector.

CERATA is a brand-new venture founded and headed by Keith Baker. Its mission is to recruit the best possible candidates, train them to develop and increase their skills and value, leading to higher staff retention levels. This in turn leads to a more profitable bottom line for CERATA’s clients – the employer organisations.

One of the leading names in the professional cleaning & hygiene industry over the past four decades, CERATA’S founder Keith Baker was formerly Director of EMEA Services for ISSA. Prior to that, he very successfully ran his own distribution company Baker Hygiene & Healthcare Supplies for many years, following a significant career with Unilever.

In this new venture, Baker is joined by several other well-known names from the sector including Lynn Webster of LWC Ltd and Chris Klopper of Mulberry Marketing Communications.

Prior to the official launch, CERATA has completed an initial assignment to recruit a UK-based Sales Account Manager for Dutch cleaning materials manufacturer Wecovi. CERATA is also currently undertaking confidential assignments for two other organisations headquartered in the UK.

Baker commented: “Our pre-launch research has established that manufacturers, distributors and building service contractors in the cleaning and associated industries all face the same challenge in correctly recruiting and then retaining sales, marketing, customer service and executive level colleagues. By identifying better candidates from the outset, linked to providing training once they are in position, we are revolutionising the traditional recruitment agency model. We are turning what is an unnecessary and painful short-term cost for our clients when it comes to recruitment into long-term profit.”

In addition to the recruitment of executives, CERATA offers a comprehensive programme of sales and executive training workshops. These are based on and include real-life insights from the cleaning industry and are led by highly experienced professionals from across all areas of this sector.
