Incentive QAS takes on The Cube in Birmingham

The specialist cleaning arm of Incentive FM Group, Incentive QAS, has been awarded a three-year contract by CBRE to provide a range of dedicated cleaning services at The Cube in Birmingham.

The iconic building is a mixed-use, 25-storey development in the centre of the city. It contains 244 apartments, 111,500 square feet of office space, shops, a hotel, a restaurant on the 25th floor and a gym in the basement.

Under the terms of the agreement, which is worth approximately £400,000 across the duration of the contract, Incentive QAS will deliver a range of services including communal area cleaning, washroom services, consumable supply and pest control.

In order to maintain a high level of cleanliness, a dedicated site manager will lead a team of five full-time operatives, who have transferred via TUPE. Incentive QAS will ensure cleaning services are delivered throughout both the day and the evening, seven days a week. In addition, a site manager will provide weekly visits to guarantee the operation runs efficiently as possible.

Jamie Wright, Managing Director at Incentive QAS, commented: “This is an extremely prestigious contract in one of Birmingham’s most iconic buildings, and as a result will require exceptional levels of service at all times. We have invested heavily in the team who will be based at The Cube, providing them with the latest innovative tools and training to ensure they can deliver the level of service CBRE has come to expect from us.”

Doug Wattleworth, Senior Building Manager at CBRE, said: “We have been thoroughly impressed with the quality of Incentive QAS’ service proposition at our other sites, as well as the company’s ability to provide a tailored and efficient operation using state-of-the-art technology. We are confident that Incentive QAS will deliver an exceptional service that will benefit residents, tenants and visitors to The Cube.”
