Incentive QAS: The critical role of specialist cleaners amid Covid-19

The demand for commercial cleaning in offices and police and fire stations has increased substantially in a bid to tackle Covid-19. Incentive QAS, the contract cleaning arm of Incentive FM Group, has expanded its training operation to meet the new demand for professional cleaning in community-critical buildings. With significant contracts across the south east with police forces and fire stations, Incentive QAS has taken the decision to upgrade the company equipment to ensure the safety of its staff and clients. With the virus affecting police station holding cells, the requests for deep cleans with industry leading equipment and chemicals has never been greater.

Jamie Wright, Managing Director of Incentive QAS, said: “The demand for pre-emptive cleans and deep cleans in fire stations, custody suites and commercial buildings has increased significantly. The Covid-19 pandemic has meant that lots of our clients are ordering more services from us, and we’re training more and more staff to be able to deliver this. The safety of our specialists and our clients is the top priority, so we’re following all the public health guidelines and have brought in even more bespoke equipment in order to hit this hard.”

Incentive QAS published emergency Covid-19 guidelines and best practice protocol for its 1000 staff across the UK, underlining the appropriate solutions and equipment needed for specific premises. As well as ensuring all staff members were given full personal protective equipment, the company also secured a number of pallets of hand sanitiser that were immediately made available for its large client base to protect critical workers and commercial staff across the country.

Wright added: “Our role in making sure important premises like holding cells are safe and sanitised is crucial at this time. To ensure these rooms and buildings are cleaned sufficiently, we’ve distributed battery powered back-pack sanitisers as well as fogging machines that fill a designated space with a solution that neutralises every surface inside. We know it’s going to be a slog for the next few months, but we’re prepared and the safety and wellbeing of our staff and clients is at the forefront of our operation.”

Incentive QAS is the contract cleaning arm of the Incentive FM Group, servicing leading blue chip locations, multi-tenanted offices and community-critical buildings.
