Kingdom buys Superclean

Support services company, Kingdom, has acquired Lincolnshire-based national cleaning services provider Superclean Services Wothorpe Ltd.

Superclean was founded in 1967 and is a national supplier of cleaning services to some of the biggest names in the public sector.

The acquisition of 650 people continues the expansion of Kingdom to £100+ million turnover and 6,000 people.

Terry Barton, Chief Executive of Kingdom said: “Superclean is a great business with great people and systems so bolts on to Kingdom very easily. The Superclean acquisition bolsters further our FM division strength.

“The Superclean team remain and join the wider Kingdom family and we look forward to meeting all our new customers.”

Last year saw Kingdom expand its cleaning offering with the acquisition of Worcester-based cleaning firm FML Group Holdings, which included subsidiary companies Freeflow Management, West End Commercial Contracts, City Contract Services and FML.
