Norse wins £3m cleaning deal with Barnet Council

Norse Group has secured a three-year cleaning contract, worth £1 million per annum with Barnet London Borough Council.

Under the terms of the agreement, Norse will take over responsibility for the daily and periodic cleaning of a portfolio of Barnet Council premises, including Civic Offices, libraries, schools and other educational facilities.

Norse Sales Director, Geoff Tucker, said: “We are proud to have been awarded such a prestigious cleaning contract with a major London council.”

Within the region Norse Group subsidiary Enfield Norse is a £5 million business providing cleaning services to a wide range of public and private sector clients and employing over 500 staff.

The contract will see over 100 operational staff  TUPE transfer into The Norse Group.

This contract award caps a record-breaking year for Norse Group, which has added over £45 million of new business across the UK.
