Hand drying technology manufacturer, SAVORTEX, has been chosen as a Successful Innovator by the American Fortune 500 corporation Cummins as part of its Environmental Gateway programme. It recognises innovators, small businesses and corporates around Britain and the world who design products which help to reduce carbon emissions.
As a result, SAVORTEX will have its smart EcoCurve range of hand dryers trialled at Cummins’ sites across the UK. Using a patented energy recovery and curved air delivery technology, SAVORTEX says these dryers deliver a 66 per cent energy saving compared to any other dryer on the market, with 97 per cent savings when compared to using paper towels.
Syed Ahmed, CEO at SAVORTEX, commented:
“We are thrilled to have been chosen from hundreds of applicants. Our hand dryers have been designed to transform the washroom market by delivering unrivalled levels of sustainability, energy savings and operational resource savings. We look forward to showcasing them to people who share our vision and values for a sustainable future.”
Denis Ford, International Sourcing Leader at Cummins, added:
“We were extremely impressed with the quality and range of ideas presented to us as part of the Cummins Environmental Gateway programme. We would like to congratulate SAVORTEX for making the Successful Innovators List 2017 and look forward to trialling their products in our offices across the UK.”
