Servest has been awarded a three-year cleaning contract with pet supplies retailer, Pets at Home to revolutionise the approach to cleaning at its distribution centre in Stoke.
The new deal follows the facilities management provider’s positive transformation of Pets at Home’s distribution centre in Northampton, and will see the Servest team delivering a range of high level cleaning services including warehouse cleaning, hygiene preventative maintenance and window cleaning.
The contract, which now incorporates several linked distribution centres, comes with several challenging obstacles. The distribution centres for example, are all over a decade old, which will make maintaining and delivering high service standards more of a task. In addition, cleaning practices will differ from typical retail contracts, due to colleagues having the rare opportunity to bring their pets to work.
Rob Legge, Servest Group’s CEO, commented: “Our relationship with Pets at Home has always been more of a partnership, than a contract. We’ve therefore been able to prove ourselves by delivering a service that met and exceeded expectations, and raised standards across the board. We’re looking forward to mirroring the success of Northampton in our new contract and strengthening our reputation as a leading service provider.”
