Washroom designer and manufacturer, Washroom Washroom, has secured three new high profile contracts – two due to get underway in the next few weeks and the third early next year.
The company will soon start work on a project to deliver new washrooms as part of an office refurbishment project on Sheldon Square in Paddington. The new male and female washrooms, which will be the same design on all 11 floors of the building, will feature Washroom’s Marcato toilet cubicles, solid grade laminate duct panel system as well as Corian trough-style vanity units.
The project will also involve the design and manufacture of unique Corian planters for all the male WC areas. The bespoke planters, which demonstrate the versatility of Corian, will be filled with real plants to add to the contemporary style created for the new washrooms.
In just a few weeks’ time, Washroom will commence work at an office building on Victoria Embankment, close to Blackfriars Bridge in London. Following the company’s previous install in the building four years ago, the basement areas are now being upgraded to the same specification. The new washrooms will feature concealed consumable units, with hand soap and paper towel dispensers inset within the mirrors with bronze acid etched glass surrounds along with full height Alto laminate toilet cubicles.
Rounding up the trio is a project at the new UK corporate headquarters of a global research-based biopharmaceutical company in Cambridge. The project will involve the team designing, manufacturing and installing its Sempre toilet cubicles in the washrooms on five levels; mezzanine, basement, ground floor, first floor and second floor. Washroom will also be creating staff shower and changing facilities in the basement featuring its Marcato shower cubicles as well as bespoke lockers and benching. Work is due to begin on site in January 2018.
