Eco-cleaning chemical brand, Delphis Eco has announced that in a landmark move, it will be the first-ever ecological hygiene partner at the forthcoming International Salon Culinaire (ISC) at the Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Show, (HRC), to be held at ExCel, London later this month.
The collaboration highlights the growing importance that the industry is placing on ecological cleaning products. Not only will Delphis’ products be centre stage across ISC but Mark Jankovich, CEO and Founder of Delphis Eco, will be judging the show’s prestigious cheffing competitions – which take place across the three days of the show – from a hygiene perspective. At the end of each competition, Jankovich will present the winner with the best-in-class Hygiene Award, plus a selection of Delphis Eco products to take home.
International Salon Culinaire, which is the UK’s largest and most prestigious programme of culinary competitions, is a platform for chefs of all levels to highlight the extraordinary and exciting gastronomic skills that the Hospitality Industry has to offer.
All chefs entering the competitions will be using a selection of Delphis Eco’s products including Anti-Bacterial Sanitiser, Super Active Washing Up Liquid, Foaming Oven Cleaner, and Anti-Bacterial Hand Soap. Visitors can also look out for Delphis Eco’s Anti-Bacterial Sanitiser dispensers which will be positioned strategically across the wider HRC show floor.
Jankovich said: “We are extremely proud to be the first ecological hygiene partner working in collaboration with International Salon Culinaire at the HRC Show. The partnership marks a shifting of the sands when it comes to perceptions around the performance of ecological cleaning products and supports the growing importance for kitchen teams to take a responsible approach to their choice of cleaning products.
“And we are delighted that competing chefs will be using our products and competing on a new platform around hygiene – not just their incredible cheffing talent. Integral to any successful kitchen is the application of first-class industry hygiene practices, it’s long been known that you can’t cook if you can’t clean.
“Delphis Eco cleaning products are not only plant-based, vegan, biodegradable and non-harmful to both users and the environment, they are also incredibly powerful and effective.”
British-made Delphis Eco products are being increasingly adopted by hotels, restaurants and foodservice operators as the most sustainable option. The company represents the best-in-class when it comes to environmentally friendly cleaning products and 100 per cent recycled plastic packaging which it pioneered ahead of the industry and was first to market in Europe.
