Electrolux Professional gears up for Emergency Services Show

Electrolux Professional will exhibit its comprehensive range of laundry solutions designed to keep frontline teams safe at the Emergency Services Show on 17-18 September at the NEC, Birmingham, Stand 5/M197 .

Products on stand include the Protective Personal Equipment Undercounter Washer (PPE-UC), a solution specifically designed to meet the rigorous hygiene standards of the emergency services, such as firefighters, the police and ambulance service.

This offers customisable wash programmes and thermal disinfection cycles, helping to remove harmful toxins while extending the lifespan of specialist equipment, such as breathing masks. The larger version of the washer can also handle bulkier items, including lung regulators and breathing air cylinders.

A ClarusVibe front load washer, again programmable based on specific emergency service needs, will also be present, with the interactive display set to show attendees the appliance’s ease of use and versatility.

The washers will be joined by the DC6-4 drying cabinet, built to dry PPE without the mechanical action of a tumble dryer, making it practical as part of an end-to-end solution. With even airflow, the DC6-4 thoroughly dries garments, including fire suits, helmets and boots quickly but gently, thus maintaining the condition and any protective coatings present within the items.

Completing the lineup is the myPRO ‘stack’, a space-saving semi-professional system ideal for non-PPE, such as gym kits and uniforms that don’t require high-level disinfection. Combining a washer and dryer in a space saving vertical configuration, the myPRO stack delivers fast, efficient results with low energy consumption, making it ideal for frequent, small-batch laundering.

Ross Kaberry, Business Development Manager at Electrolux Professional UK&I, said: “PPE equipment is the one thing that stands between many service personnel and certain danger. Yet, the danger doesn’t end once a situation is under control, as harmful toxins from fires and other emergency situations can only be removed with an effective laundry strategy.

“The Emergency Services Show is the perfect opportunity for us to promote our wide range of solutions designed to remove most residual toxins during the washing and drying process, ensuring that equipment is clean, safe and ready for the next callout. If you’re attending the show, do make sure to head over to our stand to discuss your needs.”
