Fresh Start Waste Services launches ‘cardboard wagon’ to promote recycling

Fresh Start Waste Services has taken delivery of a new Volvo FM 6×2 rear steer refuse collection vehicle from Thomas Hardie Commercials – but with a creative twist.

In place of its usual livery, the vehicle has been fully wrapped to look like a giant cardboard box, a clever nod to the company’s recycling services.

Sean Martins, Director of Sales and Marketing, said: “Another way we’re making recycling impossible to ignore… quite literally! We’ve wrapped one of our new DMR wagons to look like the very thing it collects – cardboard.”

The eye-catching design underlines Fresh Start Waste’s focus on sustainability, while also highlighting its role in collecting and recycling hundreds of tonnes of cardboard, paper, plastics, and cans every week across the North West.

Nicola McGrath, CEO, added: “This vehicle is a fun but meaningful way of showing our commitment to sustainability and raising awareness of the importance of recycling.”

The partnership with Thomas Hardie Commercials also reflects shared values, with both businesses placing sustainability at the heart of their operations.
