On 6 November, Electrolux Professional laundry partners from across the UK & Ireland gathered at Staverton Park Hotel & Golf Club, Daventry, for the 2025 edition of the manufacturer’s laundry partner conference.
After an introductory speech from Paul Frost, Country Manager for the UK & Ireland, to emphasise the focus of the day, guests were joined by two Māori warriors in their traditional dress. Partners were first treated to a performance of the haka and learned about its origins as well as Māori values, in particular Kotahitanga: Unity, working together in partnership and collaboration for collective benefit, before being offered the chance to take part themselves.
The business agenda for the day then kicked off with a session on connectivity led by Annetta Lust, Director of Business Development and Digital Transformation, serving as a launch for Electrolux Professional’s OnE Connected digital ecosystem. This was complemented by a live demo from an existing site in Sweden, courtesy of Training & Development Manager Mick Christian.
The solution allows laundry managers to access a strategic overview of their entire laundry set-up via the OnE Connected online portal, offering real-time data on the status of every appliance on-site. End users wishing to use their own portal can do so through an application programming interface (API), allowing the system to be set up via a cloud-to-cloud connection.
Within the system, the analytics tab offers a more in-depth view of lifetime performance – both at site level and on a machine-by-machine basis – with visibility of key metrics such as total operating hours, loading factor, energy consumption, and more.
All of the current Electrolux Professional washer and dryer range will have the option of interfacing with OnE Connected, while older models can be easily retrofitted with an inexpensive conversion kit.
Also launched at the event was a new range of entry-level chemicals. Designed to complement the manufacturer’s existing Ecolabel and Nordic Swan product portfolios, the new range offers a more cost-effective alternative that maintains efficient fibre penetration and a low sudsing surfactant.
After a further session on service contracts, the day concluded with a three-course meal in the Staverton suite, offering an opportunity for casual networking late into the evening.
Paul Frost, Country Manager for the UK & Ireland, concluded: “I have always put great value behind meeting our partners face-to-face, and there is no better avenue to do so than our annual laundry partner conference.
“Over the course of the event, we have not only been able to communicate our key focuses for 2026 and beyond to our partners, but take their feedback on in real-time and integrate it into our business strategy. This two-way dialogue is central to how we operate as a company, and allows us to move forward and prosper alongside all of our valued partners.”
