The Clean Space, one of the UK’s leading commercial cleaning companies, has continued its commitment to community engagement by supporting St Luke’s Primary School, Islington by carrying out practical outdoor maintenance works.
As part of ‘The Clean Space Community Initiatives’ programme, the company’s Maintenance Division partnered with St Luke’s Primary School, one of the schools supported through its cleaning services. Following discussions with members of the school team, an opportunity was identified to revitalise an outdoor area that required care and attention.
The Clean Space maintenance team re-installed six new fence posts, carried out essential repairs, and applied a fresh coat of green paint to restore and brighten the space. The work has helped improve the appearance and usability of the area, creating a more welcoming environment for pupils and staff.
Ricardo Ferreira, Operations Director at The Clean Space, said: “At The Clean Space, we believe our role goes beyond delivering high-quality cleaning services. Supporting schools like St Luke’s Primary School is about investing in the communities we work within and taking pride in making a positive, practical difference.
“This project reflects the commitment of our teams to step in where support is needed and to use their skills to improve shared spaces. It’s a great example of how our people bring our values to everyday life.”
A spokesperson from St Luke’s Primary said: “The Clean Space team have made a genuine difference to our school. By investing their time and expertise, they’ve helped transform an outdoor area into a space our pupils can enjoy and feel proud of for years to come.”
This project forms part of The Clean Space’s wider ESG strategy, which prioritises sustainable operations, social impact, and community engagement. Through these initiatives, the company continues to support local organisations and schools, strengthening relationships and contributing positively to the environments it operates in. Recent community initiatives have also included volunteer support at the Church of St Mary Paddington Green.
