York-based cleaning company VA Cleaning has been crowned Commercial Cleaning Company of the Year 2025/26 winner by Prestige Awards.
Who is VA Cleaning?
VA Cleaning offers residential and commercial cleaning to customers in York and the wider area, working with a wide range of customers from those in the commercial space, student halls, holiday lets, and offices, to one-off deep cleans and homeowners.
Why was VA Cleaning chosen?
Prestige Awards commented that they chose VA Cleaning due to the outstanding reviews the company receives, with a spokesperson noting: “We do see some mixed feedback for companies in the cleaning industry; however, the comments around your professionalism, quality of cleaning, reliability and flexibility are all so consistent.”

What are the Prestige Awards?
The Prestige Awards recognise small and medium-sized businesses throughout the UK. Each nominee is asked to submit supporting information for their chosen category. Once the allocation of nominations is met, all businesses within that particular category are then passed to a panel of judges who pick a winner.
Alongside the questionnaire, publicly sourced information is used, such as reviews, testimonials, information on the company’s website, and social media accounts.
