Christeyns strengthens UK team ready for 2026 growth

Bradford-based hygiene specialist, Christeyns UK, has added five new team members to its commercial laundry division and rewarded key team members with promotions as it focuses on growth and developing talent.

To further support operations in the UK, Christeyns has expanded its territorial field team by three and added two new engineers to its dedicated engineering division based at its purpose-built Cutler Heights Engineering Hub.

Christeyns commercial laundry division handles multi-million pound contracts, working with laundries nationwide. As one of the largest players in its sector, increasing its workforce in these two crucial areas of its business will strengthen operations and maintain a high quality of service for its customer base.

Peter Durkin takes on the role of Project Engineer in the Sustainability Team. Durkin has worked in various industrial engineering roles including Industrial Laundry and is currently working towards his master’s in engineering.  The Engineering team will be further supported by Leon Noakes who has joined as Trainee Engineering Technician.  Throughout his training, Noakes will gain a full understanding of all operations, including project management, installations, stores operations, and maintenance checks.

Three new Technical Service Account Managers join the territorial field team. James Matthews in the South West, Michael Taylor and Nick Dunne who will both support the South East.

All three have significant experience in the laundry industry and are working on strengthening customer relationships in their respective areas whilst expanding their knowledge in the company’s innovative chemistry and evolving technologies.

The existing team has also been strengthened with the promotion of Matt Uphill To Field Technical Director, Kelvin Kriel to National Accounts Director and Stacey King to Technical Manager based at the Bradford Manufacturing base.

Operations Director CUK, Justin Kerslake commented: “We are confident that these new appointments will further strengthen our team in the UK and reflect the implementation of our strategic plans to grow the business and provide the services that meet the needs of our customers.

It is an exciting time for the hygiene industry with sustainability and technology playing a huge role in our path forward. Investing in new talent will ensure we are prepared for growth in the year ahead.”
