Victor Floorcare celebrates national deal with Royal Mail
Shropshire-based Victor Floorcare has secured a deal with Royal Mail to become a preferred supplier of cleaning machines for its sites across the UK.
The agreement will see Victor machines supplied to Royal Mail facilities nationwide, supporting its cleaning operations across mail centres, sorting offices and delivery depots.
Victor Floorcare has been manufacturing a wide range of specialist floor cleaning machines in the UK since 1946, with key principles of quality, durability and simplicity at its heart.
Managing Director, Edward Blackledge, said supplying Royal Mail was a major boost for the firm.
He said: “The Victor brand is respected for producing robust, well-designed machinery that’s easy to service and delivers high performance. To be recognised by an organisation such as Royal Mail is a strong endorsement of our engineering standards and product quality.
“Their operational environments demand reliability, consistency and ease of maintenance – all areas where Victor machines excel.”
Blackledge added that the contract reflected a growing importance on the overall relationship between machinery and the operator within facilities management.
He said: “Procurement teams are increasingly focused not just on purchase price, but on longevity, serviceability and lifetime value. Our machines are designed with straightforward mechanical systems, readily available parts and minimal downtime in mind.
“To put it simply, the easier a machine is to use, the more staff will embrace using it, leading to better results.”
He also highlighted the importance of British manufacturing in securing the agreement.
