Surrey firm marks 20 years in business with double finalist place at national prop tech awards

Smarter Services, a facilities management company founded in Surrey in 2006, has been named a finalist in two categories at this year’s Property Week Tech Innovation Awards.
This recognition comes as the company marks 20 years in business, growing from a small local team to a 500+ strong workforce, working with some of the largest operators across commercial and residential sites throughout the UK.
Smarter Services delivers cleaning, property services and grounds maintenance for clients including landlords, developers and property managers. The company has been shortlisted for the Best Property Solution (Residential) and Sustainability Tech categories because of its innovations in using sensor technology and robots to assist its cleaning teams in residential buildings across London.
The winners will be announced on 16th October at the Kia Oval.
Jason Southwell, CEO, Smarter Services said: “Twenty years ago we started with a handful of people and a belief that this industry could be delivered in a better way. Getting to this point, and being recognised nationally for the work we’re doing, comes down to the teams who’ve turned up and taken pride in the job every single day. That’s what this milestone is really about.”
