Blanchardstown Centre, Dublin, appoints OCS Ireland for Integrated Facilities services
A new three-year integrated security and cleaning contract underpins a shared vision for a safe, welcoming and world-class shopping and leisure experience

OCS has formed a strategic partnership with Blanchardstown Centre and its managing agent, Savills, to support Ireland’s premier retail and leisure venue. Under a new three-year agreement, OCS will provide fully integrated, self-delivered security and cleaning services at Ireland’s largest shopping and leisure destination, marking a significant transition after decades with the same service providers.
At the heart of the agreement is a shared ambition. Blanchardstown Centre, home to more than 180 stores across the main centre and two adjoining retail parks, supported by around 5,500 car parking spaces and welcoming millions of visitors each year is pursuing a clear vision to remain a leading retail and leisure destination for Dublin and beyond. That ambition aligns closely with the OCS purpose of making people and places the best they can be.
Under the agreement, OCS will provide a full static guarding service across the destination, including regular patrols, CCTV monitoring and customer assistance, alongside cleaning and hygiene services throughout the venue and its external car parks. Together, these services are designed to protect continuous trading, uphold the high standards of presentation customers expect, and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for the visitors, retailers and colleagues who use the Centre every day.
The partnership reaches beyond day-to-day delivery. OCS will introduce a Blanchardstown-specific training framework, so that frontline teams are visible, approachable and consistent in a busy, customer-facing environment. Service performance will be reported transparently giving Savills and Centre Management real-time visibility, while an award-winning helpdesk and a priority-based resilience model safeguard continuity through the busiest trading periods.
The appointment also reflects a shared commitment to responsible operation. OCS will embed ESG principles into daily delivery, from local employment and development pathways and inclusive recruitment to low-emission equipment and sustainable cleaning solutions, all underpinned by ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification.
Aine Mulcahy, Managing Director, OCS: “We are proud to partner with Savills and Blanchardstown Centre at such an iconic Irish destination. This is far more than a security and cleaning contract; it is a shared vision to make Blanchardstown Ireland’s premier retail destination, delivering an outstanding, safe and welcoming experience for the millions of people who visit each year. This partnership is our purpose in action; making people and places the best they can be.”
Iain Finlayson, Centre Director, Blanchardstown Centre: “As Centre Director, I see this partnership as an important investment in the future of Blanchardstown Centre. Our ambition is not simply to maintain our position, but to continually raise the standard for retail and leisure destinations in Ireland. Achieving that requires trusted partners who share our commitment to operational excellence, innovation and delivering exceptional experiences. I am delighted to welcome OCS and look forward to working together to realise that ambition.”
