Industries to clean up in more ways than one thanks to new UK-wide service
An innovative sustainable way for industries to save time and money is being launched through a new training academy offering businesses their own on-site solution which will see them ‘clean up’ in more ways than one.
Dry Ice by Eco has been supporting industries for 17 years with its sustainable world-class cleaning technology helping businesses operate their machinery efficiently, maximising productivity and revenues.
With businesses across the UK facing rising costs and fragile global supply chains, the new Dry Ice Academy by Eco now provides them with the opportunity to take control of their own operations.
The Dry Ice Academy provides organisations with specialist equipment, training and ongoing technical support to enable them to perform in-situ cleaning without dismantling downtime and disruption to production.
The new service gives businesses everything they need to bring dry ice cleaning in-house, including a new dry ice blaster, certified operator training, a regular dry ice pellet supply delivered anywhere in the UK, and ongoing technical support.
The idea for the Academy came to Steven McCreadie, Head of Dry Ice by Eco, when a company in the South-East of England was losing productivity by delaying small cleaning jobs that were sorted within seconds by the Dry Ice team being on site. He has also seen other businesses let their equipment degrade until it is unfit for purpose.
It gave McCreadie the inspiration for a new business approach where organisations could have their own affordable Dry Ice solution on-site operated by their own upskilled in-house team.
McCreadie said: “The aim of the Dry Ice Academy by Eco is to help businesses upskill their own staff, reduce cleaning and maintenance downtime, lower reliance on external cleaning contractors, lessen their reliance on traditional cleaning methods such as water and chemicals, and maximise productivity.
“Sometimes businesses face small jobs that are critical to manufacturing and to processes but don’t seem worth getting a contractor out.
“The answer is to provide businesses with the right equipment, the right training, and the right support to enable them to perform the clean themselves in-situ with no downtime or secondary waste.
“Under this arrangement businesses don’t have to solve those tasks by taking machinery apart and cleaning it by hand with all the downtime and lost productivity. The return on investment is huge.
