Birmingham’s KWB Corporate Cleaning is celebrating after receiving two International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) awards for their environmental performance and health and safety management, to sit alongside their ISO 9001 quality management award.
Following intensive external assessment, the city centre-based firm has become one of just a few UK cleaning firms to hold the ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 accreditations.
ISO 14001 shows that KWB Corporate Cleaning suitably measures and improves environmental impact, while ISO 45001 is the standard for providing health and safety workplaces and preventing work-related injuries and ill health. ISO 9001 reflects that the firm has a robust quality management system in place that meets customer and regulatory requirements.
The accreditations are the latest step in KWB Corporate Cleaning’s drive to provide high standards and continuous improvement for its customers and staff.

As part of ISO 14001, KWB has committed to minimising electricity and water consumption, reducing waste, using environmentally friendly products, recycling and using local supply chains. It is also a member of Ecologi, which offsets the operational team’s carbon emissions by funding responsible tree planting and other climate projects.
To comply with the ISO 45001 accreditation, KWB regularly updates health and safety policies according to latest legislation, conducts regular staff training and site audits and encourages client feedback.
KWB Corporate Cleaning offers cleaning services to multiple schools and commercial premises across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
