Metsä Group’s tissue paper business including greaseproof paper business, has once again achieved the highest Platinum rating in the EcoVadis sustainability and social responsibility evaluation for 2024. This marks the fifth consecutive year the company has been recognised with this esteemed rating, placing it among the top one per cent of all companies assessed by EcoVadis.
EcoVadis offers global corporate sustainability ratings through a platform that enables companies to evaluate their suppliers’ performance in environmental and social responsibility. The assessments cover four themes: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
Metsä Tissue maintained high scores across all four themes evaluated, excelling particularly in the environment category with a score of 90/100.
