Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland expands robotic cleaning fleet with LionsBot R5 autonomous scrubber dryer

Sunbelt Rentals, the largest rental company in the UK and Ireland, has expanded its robotic floorcare offering with the introduction of the LionsBot R5 autonomous scrubber dryer, reflecting the growing role of robotics in commercial cleaning.

The R5 joins Sunbelt Rentals’ existing robotic cleaning fleet, broadening its autonomous floorcare range with a solution designed specifically for larger, high-traffic environments. It complements the existing robotic range by providing greater capacity and productivity for larger floor areas, giving businesses another option as they explore the use of robotics within their cleaning operations.

The R5 autonomous scrubber dryer uses AI-supported navigation with reporting through the LionsCloud platform, allowing cleaning routes, machine activity and operational data to be reviewed after each use. Designed to clean up to 5,000m² on a single charge, the R5 features a 52cm scrubbing width and an 80cm turn-in-place radius, allowing it to operate efficiently within busy commercial environments

The R5 is designed for efficient cleaning with up to 32kg of brush pressure, while its compact turning capability allows it to move smoothly in tight spaces without leaving wet rings.
