The Clean Space wins multi-site contract with Optimax

Specialist commercial cleaning company, The Clean Space, has secured a two-year multi-site contract with Optimax, one of the UK’s leading eye care providers, to deliver cleaning services across eight clinic locations nationwide.
The contract covers a range of clinical and patient-facing environments, including treatment rooms and consultation spaces. Services will include daily and periodic cleaning, delivered to support high standards of hygiene, patient safety and regulatory compliance.
The Clean Space will implement tailored, site-specific programmes aligned to clinic operations, alongside standardised processes to ensure consistency across the portfolio. Digital tools will be introduced to support auditing, reporting and service visibility, enabling a more transparent and responsive approach to delivery.
The appointment strengthens The Clean Space’s position within the healthcare sector, building on its experience in hygiene-critical environments and its ability to deliver at scale across multi-site operations.
Sustainability and responsible service delivery form a key part of the contract. This includes the use of low-impact cleaning methods, efficient resource management and a focus on supporting local employment, aligned to The Clean Space’s wider ESG commitments.
Wesley Smith, Sales and Marketing Director, at The Clean Space said: “We are pleased to be partnering with Optimax across its clinic network. This contract reflects our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality services in clinical environments, supported by strong processes, innovation and a clear focus on sustainability.”
Marta Ramos Blanco, Director of Clinical Operations and Quality Improvement at Optimax added: “Alongside service quality, it was important to us to work with a partner that reflects our values around people and responsibility. The Clean Space demonstrated a strong commitment to staff wellbeing, fair employment and community impact, which aligns closely with our own approach.”
