CleanEvent Services has been assisting the North Middlesex University Hospital Trust and Tottenham Hotspur FC in setting up and providing cleaning services for the new maternity and antenatal unit at the stadium.
The new facility, a mile away from the hospital’s Edmonton location, frees up much-needed capacity at the hospital to treat patients with Covid-19 symptoms, whilst redirecting pregnant women during the pandemic. The facility uses an American Football changing room and a post-match interview area for day unit, consultation and scanning services, as well as the auditorium for NHS staff briefings.
Tomas Gronager, CEO CleanEvent Services commented: “We are delighted to be helping the NHS at Spurs at this time of great need, ensuring high standards of cleaning at the new unit. Some of our usual venue event staff have been redeployed across three major hospitals in the south of England over the last three weeks. We continue to widen our scope and support to meet the ever changing and ongoing needs of the NHS.”
