The Hampshire-based specialist cleaning company has celebrated its 13th and busiest year to date including work on some of the country’s most stunning new buildings.
Cleaning Operations UK Limited (COUK), one of the UK’s leading experts in industrial and construction cleaning, is headquartered in Fareham but operates nationally and internationally.
The company provides rapid-response cleaning services to a host of businesses across sectors including retail, hotels, leisure centres, restaurants, offices, churches, hospitals, factories/warehouses, listed buildings, the motor trade and museums.
In 2022 Cleaning Operations UK had completed a total of 149 projects in 2022. Up 55 on 2021.
Headed up by Founder Luzia Holloway, COUK marked the end of 2022 with its now-customary Revival of Beliefs party, in which the 97-strong workforce and their families were celebrated and rewarded for their hard work.
Holloway said: “In this, our first proper year back after Covid, we have completed some fantastic projects and reached some major milestones.
“Thanks to some of our long-standing clients such as RG Group, Wilmott Dixon, Bouygues UK, Kier and the Brymor Group we have worked on some iconic buildings, such as the new Unite student accommodation buildings at Middlesex Street in London and Cardiff University, the Horizon Cruise Terminal in Southampton, The Poole Gateway Building and the HALO building in Bristol.
“Many of these projects have seen over 40 Cleaning Operations UK operatives working day and night to achieve completion ahead of or on time, generating over £2 million in income for the business and swelling our workforce to 97.
“The importance of the Revival of Beliefs event is to remind ourselves to continue to do what we do every day and every hour to the very best of our ability – to keep striving for excellence in the quality of the service we provide and to appreciate our customers and the trust they place upon us.
“Despite the huge challenges placed on our business by the Covid-19 pandemic we were able to weather the storm, while some of our competitors folded, and this is because we never take our staff our customers for granted.”
