Commercial contract cleaning provider, Ecocleen, has announced two new appointments to its team to spearhead its ambitious growth plans. Sarah Fear has been appointed as the company’s new Business Development Manager, with Nicholas Calderwood joining the team as Bid Writer.
Bringing a sound and solid background within the service sector specialising in national accounts, Fear joins Ecocleen from Citron Hygiene, where she was responsible for identifying prospect national account opportunities and closing new business to achieve both company and account growth per annum. In her role as Business Development Manager, she will be fundamental in nurturing and developing relationships with key customer accounts, as well as building long term relationships with all stakeholders and driving growth in new markets.
Speaking on her new role, Fear said: “I am thrilled to be joining Ecocleen at this very exciting and crucial time in its growth strategy. I am keen to drive a positive impact on future results by actively uncovering and pursuing opportunities across the Midlands and Northern regions to further strengthen Ecocleen’s footprint across the UK. The opportunity to join a business that places sustainability and people at the heart of it’s company, provides me with a great platform from which to begin this new journey and one that I can wholeheartedly say that I am proud to be a part of.”
Further strengthening the growing team, Calderwood brings an outstanding track record in managing bids on a global scale, having previously worked at Blue Water Shipping as Global Contracts Coordinator. With Ecocleen’s ambitious growth plans underway, Calderwood will be instrumental in preparing documents to win contracts to provide services and communicating with Procurement Officers from various organisations.
Calderwood said: “I’m excited to be joining Ecocleen at such a time of change and growth. I aim to ensure that Ecocleen is given the best chance to secure every commercial tender we pursue.”
Mark McMullen, Chief Commercial Officer at Ecocleen commented: “We are delighted to welcome Sarah and Nicholas to Ecocleen. The team and I conducted a thorough search for these crucial appointments and I’m confident that they will make a great contribution to the ambitious vision that Ecocleen has for the future. Both Sarah and Nicholas bring experience, integrity and confidence to our growing team, which will help us rise to any challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.”
