UK sanitiser specialists, Covex has partnered with Breast Cancer Now, the research and care charity.
Right now, an estimated 600,000 people are living with a breast cancer diagnosis in the UK alone, and every year over 11,500 lives are lost to the disease – that’s someone every 45 minutes.
Breast Cancer Now’s ambition is that by 2050 everyone who is diagnosed with breast cancer will live, and be supported to live well. And that’s the vision that has inspired Covex’s latest partnership.
Ryan Edkins, Founder of Covex commented: “Keeping people safe is in our DNA. So we’re aiming to raise £1 million for Breast Cancer Now’s world-class research and life-changing care.
“To mark our partnership, we’ve created a new pink range of hand sanitisers that will be launched in time for October’s Breast Cancer Awareness month, and we will be donating £1 from every litre sold to Breast Cancer Now. We will also be donating bottles of Covex to the charity’s scientists, to ensure that they can continue their vital research in the labs.”
Sarah Canniford, Head of Corporate partnerships at Breast Cancer Now said: “We are delighted to be working with Covex. Their generous fundraising will help to fund world-class research and lifechanging care, creating support for today and hope for the future.
“As the UK’s first comprehensive breast cancer charity, we are here to support anyone affected by this devastating disease. Our work is needed now more than ever, so a huge thank you to Covex’s staff and customers – your support will help us to continue to be there for people affected by breast cancer now and in the future.”
Covex’s Breast Cancer Now 75ML pink hand sanitiser will be available to purchase from the September 21 from £2.50 a bottle at www.covexgels.co.uk.
