Thank Your Cleaner Day will celebrate its most successful year ever in 2021 with more than 50 countries taking part – 20 more than last year! Social responsibility has played a major role at Kärcher for decades and support for Thank Your Cleaner Day on 20th October 2021 is part of this tradition.
Thank Your Cleaner Day brings the effort of tens of thousands of skilled, hardworking cleaning staff into focus with companies cleaned by cleaning contractors joining together in support. As co-initiator, Kärcher has been involved since the first Thank Your Cleaning Day in 2015 with the aim of recognising the hard work of cleaning staff internationally. Now in its sixth year, the movement is a global initiative and support continues to grow.
In the past cleanliness has often been undervalued by those who benefit from the service however it has become a focal point of many industries over the last 18 months. The need to keep working and living environments clean, safe, and hygienic continues to be a focus, to maintain the high levels of sanitisation crucial to tackling Covid-19.
Even without the pandemic, cleanliness and hygiene are an important pillar of modern societies. Participating building service providers and associations are working with Kärcher to implement diverse actions to ensure this professional group feels valued and appreciated.
