Airdri Group appoints Tony Wall as CEO

The Airdri Group, a designer and manufacturer of hand dryers and elevator products, has announced the appointment of Tony Wall as Chief Executive Officer from 1 May 2018.

Reporting into Bruce Philipps and the Airdri Board, Wall will oversee the day-to-day operations of the group in Oxford, Chicago, Shanghai and Guangzhou and will have a strong focus on sales growth across the key products and markets in which Airdri operates.

“We are delighted that Tony will be joining us and look forward to the benefit of his extensive experience in engineering, sales, research and development and people management.

“Over the past four years we have established a strong operating platform, bringing hand dryer manufacturing in-house, establishing two elevator manufacturing ventures in China, investing in a new state of the art facility in Guangzhou to service our customer needs better and bringing in the right level of talent to ensure everything we do is high quality. The next stage in our development is to drive company growth and we are confident Tony is the right person to lead that charge” said Bruce Philipps, Airdri President.

Commenting on his appointment Wall said: “I am very much looking forward to joining Airdri and working with the team on expanding our market share whilst continuing to provide a world class service to our customers. Innovation and quality are at the heart of all we do and will continue to be a major focus over the years to come.”

Wall is currently the CEO at Ipro Solutions Ltd, a UK based company with operations in Asia, that offers complete manufacturing solutions with one point of contact for a wide range of bespoke, high quality engineered components and assemblies, including plastics, metals and electronics. Prior to this, he held appointments across varying sectors including Managing Director of the Air Division at Qinetiq PLC for five years, a leading global company in the research, evaluation and development arena. He started his working life as a Royal Air Force Engineer Officer.
