The British Cleaning Council (BCC), which represents over 20 national trade and membership associations linked to the UK’s cleaning, hygiene and waste management sectors has announced details of a new trade show which will run alongside The Cleaning Show at London’s Excel next year (19-21 March).
Called The Resource Management Show, the two-day event will be a platform for recycling and waste management equipment manufacturers and distributors, product suppliers, and other related service providers, to promote their latest offerings.
The show will also create a networking opportunity for thousands of decision makers from both the public and private sectors who are involved in FM, waste management, utilities, recycling and environmental health.
As with The Cleaning Show, which alternates annually between London and Manchester, The Resource Management Show will be co-produced by The British Cleaning Council and Quartz Business Media.
Stan Atkins, Chair of the British Cleaning Council, said: “Many of our members and exhibitors are already closely involved with the waste management and recycling sectors and there are also big overlaps with the FM space where we are also very active.
“Further, decision making with regards to procuring waste and resource management services is increasingly being handled by the same teams which handle commercial cleaning tenders and related frameworks.
“We therefore feel that adding a second trade exhibition dedicated to resource management to run side-by-side with The Cleaning Show makes a lot of sense, and I am confident that both events will complement each other and drive even more visitors to Excel next March.”
