Grey-Water Drainage Solutions, a London and Kent-based drainage company, has purchased a brand-new Rioned Jetvac for the purposes of removing up to 3,000 litres of waste water in residential and commercial areas, covering Surrey and Sussex in addition to London and Kent.
At £100,000, the 7.5 tonne Jetvac has now been in operation for a year, providing a wide range of drainage and waste water removal services and jetting to larger pipe diameters. It also enables Grey-Water staff to access more secluded locations which larger tankers have previously had difficulty navigating.
A popular choice with utility companies and drainage contractors, the Rioned Jetvac is a Combination Unit designed to be easily manoeuvrable in urban areas with narrow accessibility. Equipped with a mechanical tank level indicator to measure waste water intake, it is also fully radio remote controlled, incorporating powerful high-suction pumps for easy and effective waste removal.
Grey-Water’s Managing Director, Chris Guilfoyle said: “[The Jetvac] has enabled us to take on more work that we would have been unable to [before the acquisition],” adding as a side note, “this does not replace or supersede current equipment, only bolsters our service.”
Highly active on social media, Grey-Water frequently produce videos that show behind the scenes footage highlighting their draining process. These videos can be viewed on the company’s Instagram account, which features a video showcasing the use of the Jetvac in disposing waste water.
