National cleaning provider, LCC Support Services is launching an inaugural ‘Innovation Exchange’ event – a full day’s celebration of advancements within the cleaning industry.
Free to attend, the drop-in event takes place at LCC’s head office in Great Warley Street, Brentwood, based around the beautiful Old Pump Works building, on Thursday 24th May from 10am-5pm.
The event is aimed primarily at FM, property and real estate managers as well as organisations that provide support services to the cleaning industry. A range of LCC’s industry leading supply partners will be on hand to showcase some of the latest innovations that are transforming cleaning services. The event will incorporate:
- Outdoor and indoor demonstrations of machinery and technology led solutions
- Exhibition areas where ideas, questions and answers can be exchanged
- Opportunities for networking, plus innovative food and hot and cold refreshments
- Handouts and informative case studies
Focus will be on technology, including how the Internet of Things is enabling data to be collected to help improve the delivery of cleaning and other services. Also on display will be the latest telemetry-tracked machinery, web-based solutions and smart apps, and the chance to learn about turning water into a natural cleaning chemical and how satisfaction indicators can control washroom equipment.
The informal, relaxed environment will also give attendees the opportunity to meet sniffer dogs used to detect bed bugs and birds of prey used in pest control, participate in competitions and have an opportunity to see window cleaning conducted at height.
Innovation can come in all shapes and sizes and, in some instances are represented by different attitudes and approaches, rather than a new product or service item. Another key concept of the LCC Innovation Exchange event is to share best practice in terms of training, fair pay, first-class customer service and compliance. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with LCC experts from operations, business development, finance, administration, HR and helpdesk teams.
Phil Smith, LCC’s Sales & Marketing Director said: “We are focused on continuous improvement and invest in pioneering products and systems that support our ethos of ensuring leading customer care. Working closely with our valued supply partners, our highly experienced team is delighted to share the benefits of innovation and show how this can help optimise cleaning operations, improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.”
