Norse wins cleaning deal with the Inspiration Trust

Norse Group’s cleaning division has won a three-year contract with the Inspiration Trust.

The contract, valued at £2.3 million, covers daily and periodic deep cleaning at the Trust’s 13 academies across Norfolk and North Suffolk.

Under the contract terms, which covers receptions, classrooms, staff rooms, communal areas, toilets and shower and changing facilities, 110 people will TUPE transfer into the group when the contract begins in August 2019.

The contract award further strengthens Norse’s cleaning division which recently secured £1.4 million in additional works at East Coast College in Lowestoft, and other local schools in Norfolk, along with a £3 million contract win with the London Borough of Barnet.

Norse Group’s UK cleaning business is now worth over £50 million a year, and provides employment for over 4,000 people across the UK.
