Hygiene services firm phs Group has launched an emergency-response cleaning service for organisations affected by coronavirus.
Premises which have had a case of coronavirus can be deep cleaned and sanitised by the emergency taskforce from phs Interclean, the specialist cleaning division of phs Group. Reported cases will be treated with the utmost urgency and aimed to be cleaned within 24-48 hours of commission.
The phs Interclean taskforce operates seven days a week, around the clock and has nationwide coverage – with dedicated operatives in all regions of the UK and Ireland. All technicians are fully trained to the highest level of health and safety as well as being CRB checked and have full PPE including face visors, masks, disposable overalls, gloves and over-shoe covers for comprehensive protection. The bespoke products and cleaning procedures are highly effective for sanitisation and decontamination with steam cleaning for fabric surfaces and difficult to reach areas.
In addition to being able to offer specialist cleaning, phs has stock of hygiene products which are available immediately. These include hand sanitisers, soap, toilet rolls and paper towels.
phs can also supply high quality air-cleaning products including its range of AERAMAX air purifiers and BIOZONE air purification systems. The AERAMAX is designed with HEPA filters to physically clean the air, removing impurities including germs and viruses including airborne flu, colds and the norovirus along with allergens, pollutants and odours. Meanwhile, the BIOZONE improves the hygiene in the air and on surfaces using sterilising techniques which destroy bacteria and viruses; including flu, E.Coli, salmonella and streptococcus. Both solutions are effective in areas such as GP surgeries, hospitals, care homes, food preparation areas, workplaces and any public space.
David Taylor-Smith, CEO of phs Group, said: “With a specialist cleaning division, our own line of hygiene and air purification products, we understand the crucial role we can play in sanitisation. As the largest hygiene services provider in the UK, we have a network of dedicated individuals up and down the country who can play an active role in supporting organisations in the fight to limit the spread of disease and protect their workforce as well as the public.
“Our message to businesses who are continuing to offer essential services to the public and to businesses who are seeking to re-open soon is clear, we are by your side and we can help.”
