B&M Waste transition to new ISO standards

Continuing its commitment to prioritising safety, a happy working environment and quality of service, B&M Waste Services has successfully transitioned to the new standards for ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 and continued with OHSAS 18001.

Ann McMurrie, EQHSC Manager for the Carbon Neutral, family-run company, said “Transitioning to these new standards is testament to the hard work and commitment of our staff. We’re so proud of the work we do – and having this formally acknowledged is the icing on the cake.”

David Curtis, Director of B&M Waste, said “Innovation, technology and a forward-thinking service is of huge importance to B&M Waste – but we know that, in order to deliver in these areas, we need to have solid foundations, and this is where our commitment to health and safety is of utmost importance.”

The news comes shortly after B&M Waste Services was informed it had maintained its prestigious RoSPA Award for the third year running – with the last two years, achieving the Gold award. The RoSPA Health and Safety Awards offer organisations the opportunity to prove their ongoing commitment to raising health and safety standards.
