After many years of service, former Chairman of the Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA) and recently retired Managing Director of Deb Limited, Jeff Bell is stepping down from the CHSA’s governing Council.
“Jeff has made an enormous contribution to the CHSA,” said Chairman Stephen Harrison. “It was his commitment to and active engagement in the industry that led to his election, first onto the Council and then to the position of Chairman, after which he continued to serve as a Council member. He served with distinction, providing clear strategic direction.
“On behalf of all his CHSA colleagues, I offer our heartfelt thanks for his many years of valuable and effective service. We will miss his wisdom and enthusiasm on Council but wish him the very best in the future. I hope our paths will continue to cross.”
Commenting on his decision, Bell said: “It has been a privilege to sit on the CHSA Council, alongside talented colleagues. Over the years we have worked together to evolve and develop the CHSA into the effective and well-respected association it is today. I wish the CHSA every success in the future and would like to say thank you for the friendship I have received from other Council members.”
Bell is being replaced on the CHSA Council by Tracey Black, National Account Director for SC Johnson Professional (formerly Deb Limited). Taking up the post in May this year, she is responsible for the company’s portfolio of national distributors and National Accounts Team. Black joined SC Johnson Professional in 2010. During her time with the business she was named Deb’s Sales Person of the year and Employee of the Year in 2011. She is committed to workplace health and wellbeing, with a focus on excellence in training, service and product quality.
Black said: “I am delighted to be joining the CHSA Council and am looking forward to working with highly respected experts in their field. It’s a great opportunity to both learn from their experience and knowledge and give something back to an industry I love.”
