Sodexo cleans up with 7-year schools deal in Elstree

Independents by Sodexo has landed a seven-year contract with Haberdashers’ Aske’s Elstree Schools to deliver cleaning services for both the boys’ and the girls’ schools.

The Boys’ School was founded in 1690 and the girls’ school was founded in 1875. Both schools are located on the same site in Elstree, Hertfordshire.

Sodexo will focus on enriching the student and staff experience at the two schools by driving innovation within the cleaning service and providing exceptional contract management support.

Commenting on the contract award, Jeremy Alderton, Managing Director, Independents by Sodexo, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this contract. Both schools are steeped in history and we know how important a clean, safe environment is. We will be applying our skills and expertise to ensure standards at both schools are at the highest level.”

The contract will commence in August 2020.
