Principle Cleaning Services is hosting its second sustainability conference, on Thursday 31st March, at Barings’ London office.
The theme is sustainability and people with presentations covering what ESG means in real estate and how to report on it effectively, the benefits of working with social enterprises, a discussion on carbon footprints, and how we can all contribute to a lower carbon lifestyle.
Principle’s CEO, Peter Smith, will open the event before introducing four guest speakers – Phillipa Roberts, a circular economy thought leader, Professor Rob Holdway FRSA, FIEMA, Jonathan Withey from Planet Mark and Osla Jamwal-Fraser from Shetland Soaps.
Principle held its first conference in February 2020, which was attended by over 80 facilities management and real estate professionals. Sustainability has been a key area for Principle – whose vision is to become the most sustainable cleaning company in the UK, for many years.
Peter Smith, CEO, Principle Cleaning Services, said: “Building on the success of our first event, this conference is designed to explore some of the major issues we are facing within the FM and real estate sectors and as individuals, as we work toward Net Zero. Our aim has always been to lead the industry on environmental issues and their social impact and we are looking forward to hearing the thoughts of our guest speakers and those attending on these important topics.”
There are a limited number of places available for this event. Anyone interested in attending can book via this link: Sustainability and People 2022.
