BICSc annual awards winners announced

The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) announced the winners of its 2019 Annual Awards in a special presentation ceremony held at Whittlebury Hall Hotel and Spa in Northamptonshire.

The awards celebrate brilliance in training and accreditation throughout the cleaning industry and are now recognised as one of the most prestigious accolades throughout the sector.

In addition to the usual applied for awards, this year also included a new applied for category, ‘The John Edwards Award’, which recognises an outstanding Corporate Member for commitment and support in helping the Institute achieve its goal, ‘Creating a Career in Cleaning’.

Speaking about this years’ entries, the Judging Panel said: “This year we received the largest number of entries to date. The commitment to BICSc standards continues to overwhelm us year on year. What’s even more important than the qualities of the finalists and winners, are the examples they set for others. By demonstrating the benefits and practicalities of BICSc standards and training, these organisations and individuals simply inspire others to aim higher within their own companies, driving improvement throughout the industry.”
