Christeyns acquires Spanish firm DYDSA

Chemicals specialist, Christeyns, has acquired the Spanish company DYDSA, an innovative leader in professional detergents and cleaning products.

Located close to the Betelgeux-Christeyns site, DYDSA became part of the Christeyns Group on the 25th of August 2019.

Since 1987, DYDSA has focused on developing and commercialising chemical products for professional cleaning and hygiene maintenance.

DYDSA is active in the restaurant and hotel sector, occupational hygiene, food industry, automotive sector, laundrettes and the construction sector. The Spanish resident company also exports its products to 11 other countries.

With the takeover, Christeyns welcomes about 40 new employees, divided between the factory in Potries (near Valencia, Spain) and two regional warehouses in northern and southern Spain.

DYDSA will continue its production activities in Potries under the Christeyns banner. All staff members, including Managing Director Javier Febrer, will remain in their roles.
