Churchill wins Scottish Police Authority deal

Following a rigorous procurement process Churchill has been awarded a multi-site contract with the Scottish Police Authority (SPA) which begins this month.

Churchill will provide cleaning and janitorial services on an initial three-year deal, with an option for a further two years.

The contract covers 13 local authorities across Scotland and 90 sites, including headquarters, offices, call centres and primary/secondary suites.

Louisa Clarke, Operations Director for Churchill, said: “Winning a contract of this scale is testament to the whole Churchill Scotland team who have mobilised in testing circumstances. It’s been a superb team effort and one that puts Churchill firmly on the map in Scotland. We hope this will be the start of a long and successful relationship.”

Phil Matis, Regional Director for Churchill, added: “Our new partnership with SPA is a defining moment, and a fantastic opportunity, strengthening our position within Scotland. This has come at an exciting time, after previous growth and the opening of our new regional office just outside of Glasgow, acting as the central hub for our operations teams. We are very much looking forward to what the future holds.”

The SPA was created in 2012 and its main functions include maintaining the police service and supporting the continuous improvement of policing in Scotland.
