London commercial cleaning specialist, Julius Rutherfoord & Co has secured two three-year contracts to care for prestigious contemporary office spaces. The first is with 40 Bank Street at Canary Wharf, and the second with the London office of international law firm, Bird & Bird.
The contract with 40 Bank Street, a 32-storey office building, which is multi-let to a diverse range of discerning companies was awarded by Canary Wharf Management Ltd.
Cleaning services will be provided to the landlord managed areas of the buildings, including an expansive ground floor lobby. Services provided seven days a week include daily out of hours cleaning, daytime housekeeping, periodic cleaning and lifts and washroom cleaning.
Bird & Bird has over 1,200 lawyers in 28 offices across Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. The London office of Bird & Bird moved into its new workspace in New Fetter Lane within the heart of London’s legal district in 2016. Built to provide a contemporary and welcoming business hub for its clients, lawyers, and business services staff, it comprises 147,000 square feet arranged over 12 floors.
Julius Rutherfoord & Co will provide a comprehensive cleaning service to protect the fabric of the building and its occupants’ health and well-being. This includes daily and periodic cleaning of all common areas, receptions, lift lobbies, office areas, meeting rooms, staff kitchens and the in-house restaurant. The contract also includes daily housekeeping, washroom cleaning and supplies, internal window cleaning and waste and recycling services.
