Cleaning and hygiene service providers, manufacturers and distributors now have an additional month to submit their entries for the 2023 European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards, as the organisers extend the entry deadline to Friday 28th April.
The awards, which are the only pan-European awards for the sector, provide a platform for businesses and individuals from the professional cleaning industry to share their stories of success.
From sustainability and diversity commitments to technological innovations and training initiatives, the awards, organised by the European Cleaning Journal, deliver well-deserved recognition for those going above and beyond.
There are 10 categories designed to recognise success and reward excellence in the cleaning and hygiene sectors. They are:
- Start-up business of the year
- Best use of smart solutions by service providers
- Investment in training
- Excellence in client/contractor partnerships
- Sustainability – best practice
- Commitment to diversity in the workforce
- Best initiative raising the profile of the cleaning sector
- Technological innovation of the year
- Leader of the year
- Rising star award
Michelle Marshall, editor of the European Cleaning Journal and founder of the awards, said: “The European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards are all about celebrating success in our often-overlooked industry. If you haven’t already submitted you entry, now really is the time. We’ve extended the deadline to give you more time to craft an award-winning nomination and we’re looking forward to reading through all your inspiring stories, before finalising our shortlist.”
To support those wanting to enter, the organisers have put together a handy top tips guide, which can be accessed on the website. Entries will close on Friday 28th April and the finalists will be announced at the end of July. The entry form can be found on the Award website: https://www.echawards.com/
The winners will then be revealed at the glittering awards ceremony and gala dinner, which will take place on Thursday 5th October at The Round Room at The Mansion House in Dublin.
