Facilities management firm, Incentive FM, has introduced Nordic Chem antimicrobial coating throughout The Mall at Cribbs Causeway, to prevent the spread of harmful pathogens including the Human Coronovirus.
Nordic Chem antimicrobial coating has been proven by independent UK laboratories to terminate harmful pathogens including the Human Coronavirus for up to 90 days after only one application. Guests of the centre can enter with the peace of mind that not only is regular touchpoint cleaning carried out by the staff, but that there is a protective coating on the surfaces that is continually working to terminate germs.
Leon Morse, Head of Operations at Cribbs Causeway, said: “The health, safety, and hygiene of guests, retailers, and staff at The Mall is our number one priority, and we are proud to be the first shopping centre in the UK to have installed a revolutionary surface hygiene coating throughout the centre. One of the reasons we partnered with Incentive FM as our facilities management specialist was their focus on innovation. Cleaning techniques such as this surface coating will help us to create a safer environment for all to visit and work, as-well as provide cost and service efficiencies for our business.”
Glenn Wilson, Director of Retail & Distribution at Incentive FM, commented: “Since the easing of lockdown restrictions many of our clients are understandably nervous about the levels of cleanliness in their sites. We’re aware that public spaces such a retail environments have a great deal of touchpoints in communal areas and it is crucial to maintain a high level of cleanliness in these areas. We will be applying the coating in all high touch points of the centre every 14 days to ensure the absolute maximum protection for visitors, and peace of mind for our clients.”
