Independent janitorial supplier, Jangro, has appointed Joanne Gilliard as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Having been with Jangro for 16 years in the role of Operations Director, Gilliard’s leadership roles have gradually been expanded, from establishing a professional and efficient Head Office, to chairing the Jangro Group Development Committee and more recently becoming Chair of the Jangro Board. She also sits on many industry association boards, including the Cleaning & Support Services Association (CSSA).
Speaking about her new role Gilliard said: “I would like to thank all the Jangro board members for believing and trusting in me to carry out the role of CEO. I feel very lucky to work in an industry that I am passionate about, and am very excited by this new opportunity.
“My vision for Jangro is to continue building on our great customer offer, and to work with the UK and Europe to ensure our industry maintains its high standards. Now, more than ever, it is my job to ensure that Jangro remains a leading and respected Group within the janitorial industry.”
Gilliard assumes responsibilities with immediate effect.
