Norse adds two new schools to its books

Norse Cleaning Division has won a three-year cleaning contract, worth £500,000 at St Mary’s School, Cambridge.

St Mary’s is an independent day and boarding school in central Cambridge, educating girls from age four to 18.

Commencing in June 2018, the agreement covers daily cleaning of the school classrooms, communal areas, staff rooms and toilet facilities, plus periodic deep cleans.

The contract also includes the daily cleaning of Mary Ward House, named after the school’s foundress.

During non-school term times, the dormitories are used as accommodation by overseas students, meaning that it will be a year-round operation for Norse.

Robert Trewick, Operations Director at Norse said: “This is a very prestigious cleaning contract for Norse, and one which adds to our growing portfolio of educational establishments cleaning in the area. We are looking forward to building a long-term relationship with such a well-respected and established school.”

In addition, Barnsley Norse has been awarded the cleaning contract for Mcauley Catholic High School in Doncaster.

Starting on 1 August 2018, the initial three-year contract, which has the opportunity to be extended by a period of up to a further two years, is worth around £690,000.

Barnsley Norse is now responsible for cleaning 45 schools across Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster and Sheffield.
