International facilities management services provider, OCS, has won a three-year deal with parcel delivery firm, DPD to deliver a bespoke cleaning service across its UK depots.
Following a collaborative workshop, OCS has built a solution that offers a new way of managing the DPD portfolio, which will result in a “more effective and efficient use of its labour resource” across the demanding peaks and troughs that DPD experiences.
Under the new contract, OCS will be implementing the CAFM solution, Concept Evolution to provide a real-time view of the OCS workflow, query resolutions, tasks and complaints, all of which are carefully recorded and time-stamped.
Commenting on the contract award, Jon Fowler, Managing Director at OCS, said: “DPD is a complex business with fluctuating requirements and we are thrilled to be working with the operations and central support teams to deliver a solution that really meets the business needs.”
The contract commenced on 1 March with OCS transferring 82 staff in 34 locations.
