Office Depot lands place on CCS framework

Office Depot UK has been awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Office Supplies framework.

The CCS plays an important role in helping the UK public sector save money when buying common goods and services. Office Depot is on the Office Supplies framework (RM6059) which launched in April this year and will run until April 2022.

Amanda Mckitty, Head of Public Sector UK for Office Depot, said: “We’re extremely pleased to have forged this new relationship with Crown Commercial Service. We have a proud track record of working with the public sector and I’m excited that Office Depot will be able to support CCS with our huge range of products and services.”

As a supplier on this framework, Office Depot will be able to provide government and public sector organisations with everything from non-medical personal protection equipment (PPE), hand sanitiser, anti-bacterial wipes, first aid and fire safety, janitorial and catering supplies, art and teaching supplies and of course a range of office products and machines.

CCS is the biggest public procurement organisation in the UK and in 2018/19, it helped the public sector achieve commercial benefits worth £945 million – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

It helps buyers in central government, and across the public and third sectors, to purchase everything from locum doctors and laptops to police cars, electricity and office products.

To help CCS buyers understand who Office Depot are and what it can do to help them save money, reduce hassle and save time as part of the framework, it has launched a dedicated microsite https://whyofficedepot.co.uk/CCS/.
